JL 2-Door vs JLU 4-Door — Know the Difference
The front seats are the same across JL and JLU, but the rear bench is completely different. The JLU 4-door rear bench comes in two versions: with fold-down armrest and without. Order the wrong one and it will not fit. Bartact offers all three rear configurations — make sure you select yours correctly.
4XE, Mojave, and 392 Special Editions
The Mojave, 392, and 4XE editions all use seats that differ from the standard JLU. The 4XE rear bench has a different cutout for the battery housing. The Mojave and 392 front seats have a different bolster profile. Bartact makes dedicated covers for every edition — do not order standard JLU covers for these trims.
Why Bartact
Material. Our standard tactical covers use a proprietary UV-protected, waterproof-backed polyester — more comfortable than neoprene, cooler to the touch in full sun, and engineered to hold its color for years without fading. It does not trap heat or stiffen in cold weather. For maximum abrasion resistance, we also offer covers in mil-spec Cordura nylon.
